Sadly, the Glenn Hills Spartans are still looking for their first win of the season after 21 games. They took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Washington County. Glenn Hills has struggled against Washington County recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Kamonta Durden, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds for Washington County. The team also got some help courtesy of Brashod Heggs, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Glenn Hills dropped their record down to 0-21 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Washington County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-12.
Glenn Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington County, they will face off against Josey at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Washington County is facing Josey at the right time seeing as Josey is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
