Despite the defeat, Hernando Christian Academy had strong showings from Caydon Williams, who scored 29 points, and Jaden Montzka, who scored 26 points. Montzka continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Carson Hedick was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Florida College Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Florida College Academy will take on Foundation Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against American Collegiate Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. American Collegiate Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
