It was a good run, but the Caro Tigers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. The game between Caro and Cass City wasn't particularly close, with Caro falling 62-47. While losing is never fun, Caro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while Cass City is ranked 89th).
Despite the loss, Caro still got an impressive performance from Evan Langmaid, who scored 20 points along with six blocks. The match was Langmaid's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor McGarry, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Caro bumped their record down to 6-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Cass City, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Reese the next time they take the court. Caro will host Reese at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Cass City will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
