Defeat or not, Peak to Peak got some senior leadership from Tysen Burton and Cole Boonstra. Burton shot 50% from the field on his way to 21 points and three steals, while Boonstra posted nine points along with six rebounds and four steals. Burton's big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Eaton over Northridge in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Reds blew the Grizzlies out of the water with a 62-18 final score. Eaton had a senior duo take command as Ely Madaleno went 7-for-16 en route to 19 points in addition to eight boards and four steals and Austin Crider dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. Crider is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Crew Haythorn, who scored 14 points.
