Beavercreek waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Roger Bacon Spartans with a sharp 9-2 victory. Considering the Beavers have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Beavercreek's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Roger Bacon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beavercreek will take on Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last seven games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Roger Bacon, they will square off against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
