Dos Palos relied on the efforts of Andre Flores, who gained 104 total yards and a touchdown, and Peyton Van worth, who threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Torres ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 43-42 photo finish over Shafter. Torres' victory was all the more impressive since Shafter was averaging only 14.83 points allowed on the season.
Their wins bumped Dos Palos to 11-1 and Exeter to 11-2.
