Basketball Recap: Bishop Hartley Takes a Loss

Bishop Hartley suffered their biggest defeat since January 18th on Sunday. They took a blow against the Pickerington Central Tigers, falling 76-45.

Despite the loss, Bishop Hartley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Naomie 'Pinky' Burnett posted 23 points. The contest was Burnett's third in a row with at least 21 points.

Bishop Hartley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pickerington Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Bishop Hartley will face off against Federal Hocking at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Pickerington Central, they will host Canal Winchester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
