The Christian Collegiate Academy Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss. They fell 52-43 to Ben's Ford Christian. While losing is never fun, Christian Collegiate Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 240th in Mississippi, while Ben's Ford Christian is ranked 112th in Louisiana).
Despite the loss, Christian Collegiate Academy still got an impressive performance from Natalie Davis, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Payten Clark, who scored ten points.
Christian Collegiate Academy's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-15. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.2 points per game. As for Ben's Ford Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Christian Collegiate Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Centreville Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Centreville Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Ben's Ford Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
