It was a good run, but Clayton unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Birchwood Bobcats. The Bears were probably out for revenge after losing 59-34 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Birchwood, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clayton will host Elmwood/Plum City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Birchwood, they will face off against Bruce at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Birchwood is facing Bruce at the right time seeing as Bruce is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
