Despite the defeat, Faith Christian saw an underclassman step up: Chasely Laethem scored 13 points. Laethem is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
Amy Ahrens was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds for Faith Baptist. Ahrens is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Ahrens, who scored 11 points along with three blocks and two steals.
