Stockbridge won the last time they faced Union Grove and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers breezed past the Wolverines to the tune of 60-28. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 32 points or more this season.
Joshua Scott had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 345 yards and seven TDs, while also rushing for 82 yards and one touchdown on only six carries. Those 345 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Zyon Robinson also helped out as he racked up 109 receiving yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Stockbridge's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Jayden Smith with two. Joshua Davidson was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Stockbridge is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Union Grove, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
