The Milaca Wolves suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 79-30 loss at the hands of Pequot Lakes. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Milaca has scored all season.
Milaca's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Coleton Kiel, who scored five points. Another player making a difference was Landon Hasz, who scored six points.
This is the second loss in a row for Milaca and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Pequot Lakes, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Milaca will take on Braham at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Braham and Milaca are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Pequot Lakes, they will head out on the road to take on Foley at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Foley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
