There's no place like home for Lincoln-Way East, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Downers Grove North Trojans on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Griffins also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Lincoln-Way East easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19.

Lincoln-Way East has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Downers Grove North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.
