Meanwhile, Padua Franciscan waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Garrett Morgan at home to the tune of 84-57. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 52-27.
The victory got Walsh Jesuit back to even at 7-7. As for Padua Franciscan, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Walsh Jesuit strolled past the Bruins in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 71-54. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Padua Franciscan's Riley Cervenka, who scored 23 points along with two steals.
