Timberlake has won 12 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Medical Lake has won 12 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Tigers will welcome the Cardinals at 2:00 p.m. Timberlake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Timberlake lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lakeland, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's contest. The Tigers put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 10-1 victory on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won four matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Shae Jones made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-5.
In other batting news, Jesi Kitchin was excellent, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Marissa Needs, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.
Meanwhile, Medical Lake started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Reardan. They came up short against the Screaming Eagles on Wednesday, falling 22-8. While the Cardinals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Screaming Eagles 5-0 in the first period.
Madi Jonckers stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Layla Armes was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Timberlake's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Medical Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Timberlake has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. However, it's not like Medical Lake struggles in that department as they've averaged .518. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Timberlake took their victory against Medical Lake in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 24-11 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
