Volleyball Recap: Kewaunee Extends Winning Streak to Two

Sheboygan Area Lutheran came into Wednesday's match looking for another win against Kewaunee, but Jadelynn Kroll wouldn't allow it. The Storm skirted past the Crusaders 2-1 for which the team can thank Kroll, who had 14 digs, seven kills, and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Kewaunee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-16, 15-11.

Sheboygan Area Lutheran lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Giavana Rainey, who had 11 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Natalie Friedl, who had three digs and two aces.

Kewaunee has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Kewaunee has already played their next contest (against Hilbert), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sheboygan Area Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Brookfield Academy on the 27th.
