Marion came out on top against Centralia on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Wildcats walked away with a 6-2 win over the Orphans. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Marion's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Centralia, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10.

Coming up, Marion will face off against Trico at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Centralia, they will take on Fairfield at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Orphans 4, the Mules 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
