There's no place like home for the Boyd Yellowjackets, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-51 victory over Callisburg on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Boyd also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Leading Boyd to victory were Trey Robinson and Payton Boyer. Robinson scored 15 points, while Boyer scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Cain, who scored eight points.
Boyd's win bumped their record up to 15-18. As for Callisburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-22.
Boyd will head out on the road to face off against Valley View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Callisburg, they will be playing at home against S & S Consolidated at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Callisburg is facing S & S Consolidated at the right time seeing as S & S Consolidated is stuck on a eight-game losing streak.
