A Season-Best Performance from Dk Chapman Jr. Leads Midlothian over Powhatan
On Friday, Midlothian got the W thanks in part to Dk Chapman Jr. playing the best football he has all season. Chapman Jr. rushed for 112 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Bryce Sowers produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Midlothian to the win on Friday. Sowers rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles.
Powhatan had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Sowers it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Sowers saw the Indians), he rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.

Johnson Posts Huge Game in 41-14 Win
Linwood Johnson was instrumental in extending Huguenot's winning streak to seven on Friday. Johnson did his part (and then some), throwing for 244 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground for the 'W'.
Huguenot's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Johnson and Huguenot will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cosby at 7:00 p.m.

Iveon Lewis and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Iveon Lewis was instrumental in extending Huguenot's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lewis was dynamite, picking up 72 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
This year, Lewis has caught 11 touchdowns while averaging 98 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had five receiving touchdowns.
