Clinton Prairie got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hyleigh Wilson out in front who scored 16 points along with two steals. Wilson hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Emma Nash was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Clinton Prairie is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-16 record this season. As for Eastern, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton Prairie will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Frontier at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Eastern, they will challenge Oak Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Oak Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Saturday.
