Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coahulla Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kobe King, who picked up 207 receiving yards and three TDs. King showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 66 yards. Tyler Douglas handled things on the ground, rushing for 100 yards and a rushing touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Coahulla Creek's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Branson Lowery, Luke Turner, and Jackson Lowery, who each picked up one sack apiece. Coahulla Creek received some extra help from Wyatt Mann, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Union County was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 21-7 to Ringgold.
