While losing is never fun, Percy Julian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while JAG is ranked 21st).
It was another big night for JaMicah Adair, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds for JAG. That makes it six consecutive games in which Adair has scored at least 25% of JAG's points. Ladarius Givan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Percy Julian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for JAG, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-1.
Percy Julian will take on Prattville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Prattville has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7. As for JAG, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
