The Pepperell Dragons won the last time they faced the Praise Academy Lions, and things went their way on Friday too. Pepperell blew past Praise Academy 81-45 on the road.
Chris Fife was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with three steals. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Evan Rhodes, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds.
Pepperell's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for Praise Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pepperell won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Chattooga at 4:00 p.m. on January 6th. Chattooga is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Praise Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oakwood Christian at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
