After a string of three wins, the Antelope Titans's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 86-78 to Grant. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Tuesday (77), Antelope still had to take the loss.
Antelope lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Juleean Alias, who scored 17 points along with three steals. SirMister Harriel was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Antelope bumped their record down to 10-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Grant, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antelope will take on River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. River Valley is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Grant, they will head out on the road to challenge Kennedy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Kennedy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
