Last Saturday, Temple Christian faced Hillsboro Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Temple Christian claimed a resounding 62-35 victory over Hillsboro Christian Academy on the road.
Meanwhile, Calvary Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Waynesfield-Goshen on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 46-42 win.
Calvary Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zeeke Wylie, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds. Daniel Young was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Temple Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Calvary Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Temple Christian ended up a good deal behind Calvary Christian when the teams last played back in January, losing 63-47. Can Temple Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
