It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the El Cerrito Gauchos had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 55-17 victory over Heritage. Considering El Cerrito has won nine games by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
The victory (which was El Cerrito's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
El Cerrito will take on Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Windsor is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games. Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
