Tyler Riske spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Navarro has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .461. However, it's not like Wimberley struggles in that department as they've averaged .449. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Navarro suffered a grim 9-2 defeat to Wimberley when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
