Jellico's game  last Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over the Oakdale Eagles. The  win was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Jellico was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 26-24, 25-27, 25-17,  15-13.
Jellico picked up their first road  victory, bumping their record up to 5-6. As for Oakdale,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jellico is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Coalfield  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oakdale will  face off against  rival Greenback  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
