After soaring high against Anaconda last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Powell County suffered a grim 14-47 defeat to Loyola-Sacred Heart. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Powell County of the 8-44 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.
The loss dropped Powell County's record to 1-4. The win bumped Loyola-Sacred Heart's record up to 3-1.
Powell County will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Florence-Carlton in two weeks at 7:00 PM. As for Loyola-Sacred Heart, they will face off against Lincoln County.
