 Meanwhile, Apex Friendship came up short against  Green Hope on Thursday, falling  3-0.
 Apex Friendship was not held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10,  25-23.
 Apex is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season. As for Apex Friendship, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
