The West Chargers took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-37 win over Basehor-Linwood. That result was just more of the same for these two, as West also won the last time the pair played back in January.
West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jalen Foy, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'vian Chambers, who scored 15 points.
West's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Basehor-Linwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will take on Seaman at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Basehor-Linwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shawnee Heights on December 12th.
