North Stafford won the last time they faced Colonial Forge and things went their way on Monday too. The Wolverines came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
The result came thanks to Kaylie DeChicchis's shutout, as she gave up just seven hits and racked up 17 Ks. Those 17 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, North Stafford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee Lizardo, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
