MICDS came out on top against Lutheran South on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Rams skirted past the Lancers 6-5. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Cole Levison was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Ford Werner also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

MICDS' record now sits at 12-3. As for Lutheran South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

MICDS will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lutheran South: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
