Plymouth Christian Academy walked away with a 62-55 win over Oakland Christian. With that victory, Plymouth Christian Academy brought their scoring average up to 50.7 points per game.
Plymouth Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiden Sexton, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Noel, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Plymouth Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-8. As for Oakland Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plymouth Christian Academy will square off against Lutheran Northwest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lutheran Northwest knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Plymouth Christian Academy likes a good challenge. Oakland Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Southfield Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th.
