The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Brantley, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten steals.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-12, which was the final score in Trinity at Meadow View's tilt against Seton last Friday. Trinity at Meadow View was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-4.
Christ Chapel Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Trinity at Meadow View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Everything went Christ Chapel Academy's way against Trinity at Meadow View in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as Christ Chapel Academy made off with a 46-24 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christ Chapel Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
