The Richmond Raiders came tearing into  Tuesday's  contest with nine straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding  102-64 victory over Union Pines at home. Richmond has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten  matches by 25  points or more this season.
  Paul McNeil Jr. continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 36 points along with eight  assists and six  rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's  now  scored 23 or more in the last four games he's  played.  Jamarion Wall was another key contributor,  scoring 19 points along with six  rebounds and six  steals.
 Despite the  defeat, Union Pines saw an underclassman step up:  Kingsley Donaldson  scored 15 points along with eight  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaylen Kyle, who  scored nine points along with two  steals.
 Richmond is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 14 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Union Pines, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond will  square off against Lee County at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Richmond has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 947 points over their last 11 games. As for Union Pines, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Hoke County at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Union Pines will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while Hoke County is ranked 182nd).
