Kalamazoo Valley recap September 4, 2013
Kalamazoo Christian moved up to 214 from 252 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Kalamazoo Valley. The Comets were able to make move up by defeating Galesburg-Augusta 41-0.
Kellogg lost to Constantine 64-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Schoolcraft takes on the Falcons. As it stands, the Eagles are in first, while Constantine is in fifth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Kalamazoo Christian takes on Olivet. Steve Ouding's team has allowed 0 points this season, while the Eagles have given up 6.
The Comets made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,199 from 7,179. The improvement was the result of 41-0 victory over the Rams last week.
