On Friday Fairmont Prep take on Ribet Academy at 3:00 PM. Fairmont Prep are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
After a disappointing 0 points in the game before, Fairmont Prep made sure to put some points up on the board against Bolsa Grande last Thursday. Fairmont Prep were fully in charge, breezing past Bolsa Grande 55-12. No one put up better numbers for Fairmont Prep than freshman Jason Terry, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with nine tackles Terry was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Ribet Academy were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-20 to Los Angeles.
Fairmont Prep's victory lifted them to 2-3 while Ribet Academy's defeat dropped them down to 0-4. The Fairmont Prep defense got after the quarterback against Bolsa Grande to the tune of seven sacks, so Ribet Academy's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the match.
