Karis Ginn made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Malayya Dodson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Raven Sandoval was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.
Thorndale is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Harper, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10-1.
