On Friday, the Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats strolled past the Holly Hill Academy Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 78-61.

Jadon Cox had a dynamite game for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics, going 11 for 20 on his way to 26 points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Cox a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach White, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holly Hill Academy only racked up nine assists.

When it comes to explaining why Holly Hill Academy lost, don't look at Jody Gillam. Despite the final result, he went 19 of 33 on his way to 45 points and five boards. That was a full 73.8% of Holly Hill Academy's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Soles, who put up four points and eight rebounds.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Holly Hill Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics will welcome Step of Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season. As for Holly Hill Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Clarendon Hall at 7:15 p.m.
