Madill took their contest at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 57-24 victory over Marietta. Madill has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Ethan Wilkerson, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and seven blocks. Another player making a difference was Greg Padgett, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Marietta lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brian Sanchez, who scored six points. Tucker Kirk was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Madill pushed their record up to 19-1 with that victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season. As for Marietta, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
