If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Terra Nova. They will challenge Menlo School on the road at 3:00 PM on Friday. Terra Nova don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
After a disappointing eight points in their last game, Terra Nova made sure to put some points up on the board against Aragon last Friday. Terra Nova put a hurting on Aragon to the tune of 49-7. Senior Jared Julian was the offensive standout of the match for Terra Nova, as he picked up 227 yards on the ground and threw 4 TDs. That makes it seven straight good games in a row from Julian.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 44 points the game before, Menlo School faltered in their contest last Friday. They took a serious blow against Menlo-Atherton, falling 3-42. Menlo School were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 3-35.
Terra Nova's win lifted them to 6-1 while Menlo School's loss dropped them down to 4-3. We'll see if Terra Nova's success rolls on or if Menlo School are able to steal their positive momentum.
