Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Uintah walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Hurricane Tigers on Friday as they made off with a 16-6 win. Considering the Utes have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Kayla Olson was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Miller, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Uintah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matches.
