The Chapman Panthers lost against the Travelers Rest Devildogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Chapman suffered a rough 62-39 loss at the hands of the Devildogs. Chapman has not had much luck with the Devildogs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Chapman lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Colt Mcallister, who scored eight points.
Chapman has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Travelers Rest, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Blue Ridge the next time they take the court. Chapman will head out to face the Fighting Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Devildogs will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
