The Eastside College Prep Panthers were the 56-50 winner over the More Knights when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Eastside College Prep fell 58-51 to More on Monday. Eastside College Prep has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
Tim Selway was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 22 rebounds for More. Selway is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Selway, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Eastside College Prep's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for More, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastside College Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Harker at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Harker is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. More's road trip will continue as they head out to face DCP Alum Rock at 4:15 p.m. on January 24th. DCP Alum Rock is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
