The Calvary Christian Warriors had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed by Clearwater at home to the tune of 48-20. The win was nothing new for Calvary Christian as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Calvary Christian's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jacob Drackett, who threw for 265 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. Drackett hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for six straight games. Zander Altieri was another key contributor, rushing for 100 yards and two touchdowns.
Calvary Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Clearwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Calvary Christian will head out on the road to face off against Berkeley Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Berkeley Prep: 12.8, Calvary Christian: 15.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Clearwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
