The Triton Central Tigers have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 47-40 to Norwell on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Triton Central has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Triton Central saw an underclassman step up: Eli Sego scored 15 points. Sego scored a full 37.5% of Triton Central's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Silas Blair, who scored 11 points.
Triton Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Norwell, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Triton Central is on the road again on January 5, 2024 and play against Waldron at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Norwell will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Adams Central at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
