Volleyball Recap: Clifton Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

Clifton won the last time they faced Groesbeck, and Scarlett Kennedy did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cubs came out on top against the Goats by a score of 2-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Kennedy, who had eight digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Clifton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-5 record this season. As for Groesbeck, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-9 record.

Clifton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Scappoose on the 30th. As for Groesbeck, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Bishop Amat on the 30th.
