King Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Richard Winn Academy Eagles. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

King Academy's record is now 6-2. As for Richard Winn Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

King Academy and Richard Winn Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Knights see the field they'll take on Wardlaw Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Richard Winn Academy, their break will end when they face Lee Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
