Lake Placid came into Thursday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Frostproof Bulldogs on Thursday as the Lake Placid Dragons made off with a 39-19 win. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Lake Placid to victory were Trinity Smalls and Haylee Stewart. Smalls posted 16 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Stewart put up 21 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Stewart has scored at least a third of Lake Placid's points.

Lake Placid's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Frostproof, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Lake Placid will venture away from home to face off against Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Frostproof, they will host Fort Meade at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
